Hebrew Salvation

Isaías habla 14 Por tanto, el Señor mismo os dará señal: He aquí, la virgen concebirá y dará a luz un hijo, y llamará su nomלָ֠כֵן יִתֵּ֨ן אֲדֹנָ֥י ה֛וּא לָכֶ֖ם אֹ֑ות הִנֵּ֣ה הָעַלְמָ֗ה הָרָה֙ וְיֹלֶ֣דֶת בֵּ֔ן וְקָרָ֥את שְׁמֹ֖ו עִמָּ֥נוּ אֵ Salvation is a word we often hear bantered around during Sunday service… but what does it really mean? Take theology out of it and it means deliverance from harm, ruin or loss. Theologically it also means the same thing, with the harm/ruin/loss being death. Salvation, in the Judeo-Christian sense, is to be saved from death…it takes you beyond death and into eternity. Who brings salvation? Jesus, whose name is pronounced Yeshua in Hebrew. 6 Porque nos ha nacido un Niño, A nosotros se nos da un Hijo; Y el principado estará sobre Su hombro. Y su nombre será llamado Maravilloso, Consejero, Dios Fuerte, Padre Eterno, Príncipe de Paz If you need prayer... Call 1-877-800-7729 The name Jesus comes the Hebrew name Yehoshua which simply means “Yahweh is salvation,” and it was given to Christ at His birth. Well, then what was the eternal Son’s name previous? In the Old Testament, Isaiah says that His name is Wonderful. But the Hebrew word Wonderful, means “difficult to understand” or “incomprehensible”. So what are we talking about when we discuss the preexistence of Jesus Christ? We are talking about someone who has not yet received His name—Yehoshua—and whose name is beyond our ability to understand. Venid ahora, y estemos a cuenta, dice Jehová, aunque vuestros pecados sean como la grana, como la nieveכִּי־יֶ֣לֶד יֻלַּד־לָ֗נוּ בֵּ֚ן נִתַּן־לָ֔נוּ וַתְּהִ֥י הַמִּשְׂרָ֖ה עַל־שִׁכְמֹ֑ו וַיִּקְרָ֨א שְׁמֹ֜ו פֶּ֠לֶא יֹועֵץ֙ אֵ֣ל גִּבֹּ֔ור אֲבִיעַ֖ד שַׂר־שָׁלֹֽ
